THE AUTHOR

Like many doll collectors, I appreciate a wide variety of dolls. For many years I favoured BJD's, however as my interest in dolls grew, so did my collection. I brought home a large number of play dolls from Gotz, an abundance of fashion dolls from Integrity Toys and a mixed bag of other pretty and not so pretty dolls. By the end of 2019 my collection had more than tripled in size.

Then in 2020, the year of Covid19, the randomness of my collecting came to an abrupt halt with my very late discovery of Robert Tonner dolls. I admired the beauty, quality and the detail paid to each doll's costuming. This was the year I purchased a further forty new dolls, but it was Tonner's Wild Imagination dolls who completely stole my heart.

So much so, I have dedicated "Exclusively Wilde" completely to them. It's here you will find reference to Tonner's background stories for each doll, photo images that tell the tales for those who have no voice and costumes which I have hand sewn for these beautiful one quarter scale dolls.
